Sign Lines, Ltd. developed the Folding Utility Ruler as a safety solution for utility contractors who needed a highly visible yet portable measuring device on the jobsite. The Folding Utility Ruler is used primarily to measure distance to marked underground utilities and other obstacles during an excavation, helping to create a bold photographic record of jobsite conditions.
This tough, field tested ruler is available in 7 in. by 3 ft. and hinged 7 in. by 6 ft. lengths. Screen printed black on durable yellow .035 plastic. Folds to a compact 7x12 inches for storage.
